I'm about to buy the Dazzle Hollywood DV Bridge. I'm using it to take VHS to VCD. How much space on my HD will a 1-hr show require if it is in stereo?
Thanks for the info

shortwave7,
13GB per hour is just for the original DV file(s). If you are going to re-encode to S/VCD or DVD you need extra space for the intermediate files and the final file. And thats just for ONE HOUR. I have a 60GB drive that holds nothing but video stuff (miniDV camera conversions).
With the price of storage dropping fast I would go out and scarf up a second (or third) drive. It will also help keep your performance up since you won't be clogging you main drive with files that are large and temporary. -
I just grabbed a 100GB ata100 7200rpm 8mb buffer WD for $120. It's gonna come in SO handy.
