    i was wondering if any of you knew why when i burn an svcd that it will play flawless in my dvd player..sony dvp-s350, and then other times it will do nothing but freeze up.

    I know.
    I made an svcd and I had to pause it and then hit play again and it wold play for about 30sec. then go into slow mo.

    Sony players are well known delicate standalones.
    Just imagine that a year ago, most of Sony Standalones don't even support CD-Rs....
    Try to find which type/brand of CD-R is more friendly to your player
