I used to take my set of ripped vob files and process them with dvd2avi to get a d2v and a wav file. then I used these as the video and audio source in TMPGEnc.
Now, when I open the vobs, and go to "save project" when it is done, all I have is a d2v file, no .wav. What is going on? I haven't changed my settings as far as I know. What can I do?

First off go to the audio tab and make sure that under Dolby Digital it is still set to decode.
In the audio tab you can also select which audio track you decode, or demultiplex. Most likely what is happening is that the first track is a DTS track, which only the newest version of dvd2avi can process. My suggestion is that whenever you rip the dvd you look in the stream processing area and see what audio streams are on the dvd and what order they are in. That way you can select the desired track in dvd2avi, if this is your decoding method of choice.
Just leaving the default audio track of 1 selected will work on most dvds, since the DD track is usually first. But you are always going to run into dvds that store the audio in different order, so always check before running dvd2avi.
