  1. Check out this letter from Pioneer. The drives can over heat and lock up and render the hardware inoperable. Pioneer recomends that you download additional software to monitor the drive during the burning process. Get all the info at the following links.

    I would have never heard anything about this unless I hadn't read this info from here.
    I would have been really pissed if I would have fried my DVD-R burner.

    Um, I thought the A04/104 were only able to burn at 2x/1x... So does this just mean that I should avoid burning 4x DVD-R media at 2x in my 104 or does it mean that I can now burn at 4x but shouldn't
