Im about to write the DVD using a DVD-RW on a Pioneer A-04 Model but its on a Firewire/USB2 case. Im using the Firewire. It wont record on the DVDR, using XP Pro, 1Gig hz and 512 ram with 180gHD. Which Authoring may work for external DVDR? Does Spruce works on a External DVDR? Thanks... Oh i was doing a DVD-VCD format for it. the simulation works so i just have to recoerd it. Using a Vermatim DVD-RW. Thanks again

I use Spruceup with my A-04, but I have never been able to get it to write directly to the burner.
I always have to export to a title set or disc image first, then I burn with Prassi Primo & that works great.
