My problem:
I capped an old B/W movie using MMC7.6 in Mpeg2 480*480 9MB/s as 224 kbit audio as my master. Because I have Win98SE, this resulted in a 4 Gig file and a 1 Gig file. I used TMPGEnc to convert both pieces using a high quality SVCD template. I joined the pieces together using CAMEL. Everything is in sync. However, the timestamp is wrong. The DVD player shows a timestamp equal to the length of the first file and not the extra time from the 2nd file. I've tried various programs to demux and remux the streams but I get the same timestamp, the 2nd piece timestamp or the wrong file size (the original combined file is 1.3 Gig while the demuxed/remuxed file is a little over 1 Gig). Are there any other programs I can use to try to correct the timestamp? Even VCDEasy says nothing is wrong with the combined file but only gives a timestamp equal to the first piece. I've also tried the demux/remux using M2-Edit Pro with the same results as TMPGEnc.
Help!
