Well not totally lost, just it seems that it cuts off a fair amount off the top sides and bottom.
I've tried encoding the avi's into vcd svcd and ntfs complient resolutions but it seems no matter what I loose some of the picture. My main concern is I cannot read subtitles on animes.
When I view on my pc using powerdvd the whole image is there.
I've tried playing on a sanyo and memorex dvd units. And I've used different tv's too.
I can't seem to figure it out, and I'm tired of taking hours to trial and error the movies.
If someone could just tell me how I should encode these movies in either TmpgEnc or virtualdub I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks.

Do a search for overscan. Basicly most TV's cut off about 5-10% of the image.

Thanks.
I didn't know what name to put to it earlier.
Just figured out how to add borders using tmpgEnc.
Thank again.
