Does anyone know why my rm video plays at half the Frames Per Second that it's encoded at?
I used TINRA to convert it to an avi, but the end result was an avi of 15fps.
If the original is encoded at 30fps, why does it playback at 15?
a PIII 1Ghz PC with 256RAM (30GB HD)shouldn't have such problems... should it?

Knowing RealMedia, I can probably say that the codec couldn't keep up and dropped frames. RealMedia is pure crap. Your bitrate is a little low also so that's a definite reason why it dropped frames.
