hi
i had a problem with some avi videos, because there was no sound ... media player was trying to download a codec from ms site, but nothing happened. after that, i read some older posts here, and found out, that Nimo is the best solution for my problem.
i downloaded the full version, installed it, and after that, i wasn't able to play any video file (windvd and media player 6 and 7.1), because the player allways crashed before evens starting playing the movie.
i tried a few different types of installation, removed all codecs, installed nimo again, but allways the same problem. than i installed the nimo light pack or whatever, and i had sound in all movies, even in the movies which had no sound in media player, but there was no picture. than i installed divx3.11 and now is everything ok.
did anyone of you had this problem? this is maybe a nimo bug, or my system bug (win2000 sp3).
thanx
MM

and one more question:
i downloaded bsplayer, and everything is ok. but there are two things which i don't like, and i would like to know if is possible to change that:
- 1st: when i start bsplayer, it shows me a message "Overlay Failed" (thats because i have two displays
- 2nd: is there a "fast forward" option like in media player (to pull the scroll where ever i want) ?
thanx

had the same problem with nemo new codec my self......there seem to be a problem with ver 8 of the new codec with some boxes.....you have two opinions the basic ver of the install seem to work fine on some setups or you'll have to find ver.7 somewhere
