My mpg movie plays fine and sounds fine. When I try to burn it to CD both vcdeasy and nero refuse with the message that 512X384 is not a valid resolution. How can I change the resolution and which resolution would be best.

Load the movie into TMPGEnc. Select Load. Choose either the VCD or the SVCD file for the video format you want. Select Run, and the resulting file should be a good file waiting for your favorite burn program.
Hello. -
Thanks for replying tommyknocker but that did not work. An error message popped up saying "Illegal Stream Format".
I downloaded a movie which was in the OGM format.
The OGM was then fed to a converter which produced an avi.
The avi played very well.
The avi was then fed into TMPGEnc which produced an mpg.
The mpg played very well.
The mpg was then fed into vcdeasy and also nero. Both refused to take it with the message 512X384 was an invalid resolution.
What I'm trying to do is burn it to CD so that a standalone DVD player will play it.
Apparently the bad resolution is in the downloaded OGM. -

Thanks ViperXT. Your suggestion fixed my problem. If you are ever in this part of the country, stop by and I will buy you a beer.
