hi all
im trying to get into video capture and im wondering about a few certain things that might make this possible..
I have a xp1800, on an ABIT KR7 with 512mbs of DDR ram, at the moment i have a geforce 2 ultra, but am wanting to upgrade to get a ATI 9700 Pro.
Im wanting a good capture quality, i just would like to have a recommendations of some capture cards.
theres also one more thing that i would like a bit of advice about.. SCSI.
is it worth for me to get a SCSI hard drive when doing video capture ? i think that a 18gig hard drive and a adeptec scsi card would be near or around £300.. plus then i would have to buy the capture card on top.
i am a beginner and im not doing this professionally or anything like that. i just want to be able to have a competant setup, so that it will be more than enough for me to learn on and use when i have gotten the basics and more besides.
if there is any queries, please let me know and i will try to answer them as best as i can.
