I've got some MPEG-1's encoded ready for a VCD. I now want to get them onto DVD without re-encoding them.
Is there any authoring software that will create the DVD files without turning them all into MPEG-2's and increasing the file size (and therefore defeating the object!)?

Spruceup can do this although you'll still need to convert the audio to 48000Hz to make your files DVD compliant.
Using TMPGEnc, de-multiplex your file, re-encode the audio to 48000Hz then multiplex the new .mp2 and .m1v files.
