    Ive ripped the vobs off in smartripper and then loaded into dvd2avi and saved project ... when i encode to mpeg 2 the action scenes at the start of the film repeat themselves and the sound is out of sync thru out the film .... any help appreciated thanx

    Strip the movie and sound using IFOEdit. Then dvd2avi.

    maybe it's because "The Matrix" is the hardest disc to copy on the planet? seamless branching, multi angles, blah blah blah. i'm not sure it's so hard to keep just the main movie, but anything other than that is going to take months of work and practice
