I recently bought DVD-r Pioneer 104 and DVD-ROM Pioneer 500m (or 116 series). Most of the DVDr's i burned do not work with my DVD-ROM.
I used all kinds of methods (Nero, Prassi, ISO with DVD Decrypter) but
still the same result. The VOBs and the IFOs are ok because i can play the DVD from my hard disk before burning.
I use Win XP Pro and Princo Media.
Who's fault is it?

I have another answer do U gave all the right info for the files to play as I was having the same bother!!! Okay have U used ifo edit to create new vobs? if no do this & the other one is to try vob instant cd/dvd as nero plays funny gits with me!! Ah and the last one is that XP is shite & win2k allows me to burn my dvd's & they work in my player! try some of the guides at doom9.net coz they work a treat. Last of all the princo disks are fine I've burnt loads now & well if I can get them to work in an alba dvd103 I know I'm onto a winner coz my mates have all different typers of players & they work in theres also.

i think that the vobs are ok, cause the dvdr i wrote plays fine in afriend's dvd-rom which is an x10 ACER. maybe there is a problem with my dvd-rom , it is a new pioneer model x16 , could be more sensitive or... something.

and something else (out of topic but...) what is the correct recoring options for Primo or RecordNowMax?
UDF with Joliet-106 characters length-plus 8+3 tree or the other without Joliet?
