My new video-camera Panasonic NV-MX300 offers a top quality for image and sound. What is the best way to exploit almost 100% of this quality? My first try with Ulead 5.0 (mpeg-encoder Ligos LSX integrated, but what version?) and ATI AIW 8500DV (firewire integrated): Capturing with intermediate mpeg2-quality and rendering to PAL SVCD, 480x576, 25 f/s, 24bit, video bit-rate 2460kbps, Audio 224kbps,layer2, 44.1kHz, joined Stereo. Result on my stand-alone DVD-Player Pioneer DV-444: good, but not so good as my source of NV-MX300. After about other 50 tests the version SVCD is still the best on the DV-444. If I would go further with the quality what do you suggest? To buy a DVD-writer?
