hi i just ripped american pie 2 but it seems to be a bit dark, obviosuly i knowit's not going to be dvd picture etc......but im not too sure if the picture is too dark,are there any options on smartripper or tmep i guess ,that will brighten it up, ......or if someone wants too see my ripp i can send u a 30 seconds clip over msn messenger or icq, to tell me if u think it is too dark

You can make adjustments in TMPGEnc under "Advanced", double click on "simple color correction" and you can adjust the brightness, contrast, etc.. Make sure you check the enable filter box. But a big warning: when you use this function it will make the output mpg file MUCH BIGGER! (Although it doesn't increase the encoding time.)
