    Hello,
I have Canopus ADVC-100 and I convert VHS to DV with this converter (analog to digital). Then, i transfer DV to PC (via FireWire card) and edit it. When I finished, I want to get DV back to VHS through my converter via FireWire (DV out) to Canopus and via AV chinch out to my VCR.
The question is how can I do it? Is there any program with which I can transfer DV via DV out to my converter? Adobe Premiere has option Export to tape but I think that this option works only if I want to export DV to digital camera.
    Thanks...

So, you mean that Export To Tape in Premiere will do the job?

  4. Technically it should... If premiere sees the advc-100 as a camera/vcr it can also export to it. The device (if nessesary) needs to be configured correctly naturally, the autoselect option only works with canopus dv-cards. Let the vcd record on the scart 1 or svideo 1 connector, like from a camera and things should work out just fine. You can also connect the advc 100 directy to a tv to see what the result will look like without the VHS loss you are about to create.

    Greetz.
