I would like to purchase some VCD's but I am unsure if my DVD player (stand alone) will play them. I have searched this site and through my paperwork for the component and nothing mentions VCD compatibility. Can anyone help??

Kenwood DVF 5020 (this site shows the 5010 model.)

Can you suggest some quick tips for doing this?? I have seen sooooo many different programs and read just as many procedures. I normally do not have much time to play with my computer due to work and family.

    1 download AVI
2 Scan for junk frames in Vdub
    3 Convert 2 Mpeg 1 in TMPGEnc
4 burn to disk with VCD authoring program, like Nero

That’s the basics, you will need to read up the rest if you get a problem
