    My tv's little cable goes in one hole of the back of my vcr, while a new cable goes from the other hole there to the cable receptor in the wall. Because of the positioning of my room, and the impracticality of having to reconnect so as tv is watchable, i do NOT want to go from the card directly to the TV. What can i do about this?

    you could try a cable splitter after it leaves the cable box.
