All these key generators out their, how do they work?
Do they just show serial numbers that have been collected through ppl donating them or by hacking into the company's e-mail?
Or do the programs have a pattern reconition system for the serial such as..
<vowel><vowel><number><numer><G><8 or 3><consinent><number>
A pattern like that.
I'm just curious, I dont' know how to find out what the pattern is plus I can't write a program to guess a serial to fit the pattern.

Most of the times the best way to give a costumer a serial number is by making the costumer's name or email a variable on wich the serial number is based on. For example, lets imagine John Doe wanted to buy some software online. He could just download the Demo, try it out, call the company and buy it by phone. He would then receive the serial based on his email or name.
I think this is just one of the methods and since we don't know the mathematical equation used on generating the serial we can't create one from scratch.
hope this helps your curiosity -
Thanks,
but couldn't you figure out the equation by looking at the part of the program that acepts or rejects the serial. -
Yes that is how keygens are made. They get access to some working serials and using the program itself, reverse engineer the process by which the serials as generated. Essentially they figure out the pattern. Sorry I have no idea how to write a keygen.
If you read the nfo's for some keygens they will actually go into some detail as to how they are made.
