    Does Anyone Know how long it takes to make a VCD or SVCD using
    Dup-DVD.

    Don't know the answer but I use DVDx with Lsx plugin and 2hr movie takes 7.5 hrs with great quality SVCD's produced .DVDx is also free
    big bonus LSX however is not free (not legaly anyway). :P

    I dont know about dup-dvd but using cladXP>Tmpg 2-pass SVCD takes about 6to9 hrs.

    Duron1.2
    512mb
    40gig hdd

    etc.
