I have made my first VCD. I used the following to make it:

    1 - CDRW disk(test), 1 - CDR disk
    Nero 5.5.4.3
    MPEG file encoded with TMPGEnc.
    Apex AD-1100W (1 meg unit)

The CDRW disk, the test one, played perfectly. I was able to access
the test menu I created and the movie played flawlessly.

I created the CDR disk for the final product with better images for the
menu and when I load it up in the 1100W I get the "PBC On" message
and my menu will not show.

I just need to be pointed in the right direction for an answer to this
problem. I have searched for one but all I can find is how to make a
VCD with Nero. It does not tell me any specifics on how to avoid the
    PBC message.

The CDRW was burned no differently than the CDR.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks.

The only thing I can think that "May" have changed was the CD-i
check box. If this is true then I will try it with my next test.
I am still open for suggestions.

    Thanks.
