    Hi! I hope this question wasn't askes too often... I have problems with the VirtualDub/TMPG solution given on these pages. Is there a simple program that will add subtitles to an AVI or MPEG? Converting them to a VCD is no problem, just the sub-part... please help me. Thanks.

    use avisynth
    look for the user guide by truman on making permanent subtitles.
    it's very simple to follow, and works well...avisynth is very fast compared to vdub
    what are you askin' me for...
