Hi I made a photo album with music on and put image on CD-RW.
I have Sampo and Pioneer 333
Sampo plays audio perfectly but video is very poor (overlapping, partial picture displays etc)
Pioneer plays video perfectly with very bad audio (clicking)
In summary Sampo has video flickering and Pioneer has audio flickering.
Is this due to CDRW media ?
If I use CD-R (I thought why should I waste for testing) is this problem is going to solve? I going to give a try tonight (let I waste one more cd-R)
Any idea.
I searched vcdhelp and read TOMMO's page also. No clue
CeQuadrat simply says burned image is perfect, may be problem with my stand alone DVD players.

could be a bad encode.
but you may be right. as cd-rw's are used n earsed, they quality can go down
sorry, but it's kinna funny. -

In PC it plays perfectly(SthVCD). there is no encoding problem. you are right. It's really funny.
So last night I used Ulead and GoDVD plugin. Quality is very good. But I like ease of use in WinOnCD
Thanks anyway

I got a Pioneer DVD player. I got the same problem like
you have. After months of trying different DVD burn methods
and come to these conclusions:
1. Pioneer can play VCD perfectly.
2. Pioneer can play SVCD with perfect pictures. However
the sound is terrible.( I have to turn off the sound when watching the SVCD)
WinOnCD photo album produces SVCD disk. You can get perfect picture but not the sound on Pioneer DVD.
To solve the problem, I bought APEX500 DVD player, it can play VCD, SVCD, DVD, MP3. However its video quality is not
as good as Pioneer ( about 80% quality).
Anybody can find better solution I'm glad to hear about. -

Pioneer is a very good player. I made a SVCD using Ulead with photos and music. Both Audio and Video quality is very good.
I liked WinOnCD because it can play nicely in computer(without any player. photo album cd has its own player in CD) and also in DVD.
But some where we or WinOnCD are doing wrong. We have to find the solution.

Finaly I found the answer
Use CD-R(I used low quality CD-R STI brand) not CD-RW.
It works perfectly in SAMPO-620 player.
Like me many are facing audio problem in PHOTO album.
I belive most of the people are tried their test PHOTO VCD in CD-RW not in CD-R.
I failed 10 times with my CD-RW disk.
then I thought to burn in CD-R. It worked.
So I assumed the secret behind is CDR media.
