    Hi,
    I've been trying to find a DVD writer for a long time. As I investigate more I get more confused!
    All I need is a medi to stoer my data files and video images. I like to be able to store as much as possible and burn DVD compatible with consumer DVD players.

    Please don't try to educate me! I know there are lots of technical things I don't know about DVD, be honest with you I don't care that much!

    Just point me to a product which is close to what I explained. I'll be more than happy

    Check my sig for general info. You should still try to educate yourself about the technology.

    The drive you probably want is the Pioneer A04 retail box. Nero and DVD authoring software should come with it, but check.
