    I have already searched the forum for anyone that could play mp3's from a dvd-r on a stand alone system. No luck in the old posts.

    Has anyone had any luck yet?

    I have phoned a few stores and they "claim" that it should work on the new systems. Does anyone know?

    Any Hacks available?

    Check the Nerd-Out forums on the AD1100W. People say it will play the MP3 files on DVD-R. I have one of these units, but no DVD Burner.

    BTW, these units have been lowered to $64 at Wal-Mart. What a steal!
