    I know that I can copy my DVDs for personal use, so I held onto DeCSS. Now that I have the equipment to make use of it, I have a problem. I can convert with DeCSS on my laptop (it has the DVD drive) and play them with Windows media there. If I move the file to the Desktop, I cannot play it with several different players. The program I have is specifically DeCSS12. Am I missing something?

    I think people have moved on since the court battle, most use Smart Ripper
