Would someone please explain to me why you just can't simply make a working copy of an XBOX or PS2 game using a DVD Recorder or Burner?

XBOX games has some type of encryption that I'm not aware of.
PS2 games have LibCrypt2 encryption.
Problem is that PS2 needs to be modded to play burned games. Same with Xbox. Microsoft has locked out R media on the xbox. So CD-Rs and DVD-Rs don't work. You'll need CD-RW and DVD-RWs for them to work on xbox.
If they made the games unencrypted then why would the industry sell DVD-RW, or CD-RWs so freely on the market??? -
Does anyone know of any software that can be used to burn PS2 or XBox games, and if it can be done!
