    I finished dling some movies and all are in AVI format. Some have sound and others don't. I watch my movies through windows media player and have Divx 5.02, but when i try to watch the movies it says sending request for codec...error blah blah blah and then picture comes up but no sound. Sorry for sounding such a newbie!! Thanks for the help!!!!

    Sounds like you dont have the codec for the audio, go get the Nimo Codec Pack. It will fix that right up.
