  1. i just got a bush 2023 dvd player. it plays dvd/cd/mp3/cdr/cdrw as its supposed to. "cool" i hear you say, but check this - i cant get ANY of my vcds to play on it! I sometimes get the 1st frame to appear on screen but then it spits the disc out saying incorrect format! I have looked for a remote hack to find some sort of hidden menu but nowhere seems to know of the dvd player let alone a hack! i found model 2009 hack but thats the latest model number i can find! PLEASE HELP ME ENABLE VCD ON MY DVD PLAYER! WHO KNOWS, MAYBE I CAN HELP YOU ONE DAY!

    Thanks in advance!

  3. I FOUND THE HACK! ALL BY MYSELF!! HEH HEH!

WANNA PLAY VCD ON A BUSH 2023 DVD PLAYER OR A ALBA 108 DVD PLAYER?? SIMPLE! DO THE FOLLOWING!

OPEN TRAY - INSERT VCD - PRESS CLOSE.
AS THE DISC SPINS UP TAP 'LEFT' THEN HOLD '1'

IT WONT SAY 'INCORRECT DISK FORMAT' AND SPIT IT OUT IT WILL PLAY!!!

ALSO IF YOU ARE NOT FAST ENOUGH TO GET THE KEY COMBINATION IN QUICK ENOUGH, WAIT UNTIL THE DISK DOES NOT GET EJECTED BEFORE YOU PRESSS LEFT THEN 1! (DONT KNOW IF THE PLAY HELD ONTO THE DISC AFTER ABOUT THE 5TH ATTEMPT ON THE ALBA MACHINE BUT IT DOES ON THE BUSH!)

ANYHOW PEEPS THANKS FOR NOTHING ! HEH HEH

  5. well, thankyou eagerbeaver for the alba hack, ive been searching for quite while now (ever since the dvd player was released) as my nextdoor neighboor has bought the new alba 108 machine and can get cheap vcd's but they wont play, i have tried everything from looking for older model hacks and modifying them to the new model, and all i have achieved is making region-free! but no vcd play back, i shall go and try your (kind of) hack and hope it works as it doesnt seem fair asking them to get me vcd's when they cant play them themselves. Anyways thanks alot m8
