Audio problem when converting

Hello,

I used TMPGE to convertAVI to mpeg, but i found out theres no sound. SO, i read some pages about it, and got that Virtual Dub, and did everything it said. I have a few problems.

I did everything it said to make the wavs, but, i get erros. Some are like after it starts to do the wav, it will stop and say some kind of err (200) decompression or somthing, i dont have anythign about decompression selected...

Also, when i opened Jay and slient bob (avi) with VDub, it gives me an error, then says click ok. I do that, and do all the WAV steps, then click save wav, and it says something like "the requested audio format is not compat. with the output format" and some other stuff.

help me please!
