Hi

I am new to Ripping and burning... I have followed the Newbie how to's and got DVD's etc working...

I have a question however... I have used Smart ripper and DVD DeCrypter to rip from DVD's but I then want to use either Ulead DVD movie Factory or DVD Workshop. And they will not recongnise either the MV2 or VOB files that i have ripped with Smat ripper or DVD DeCrypt?

Am I doing something wrong or do I have to use another program or do another step in the process.

I know SpruseUp works etc... but by Choice I would like to use Ulead or Roxio Videopack... none of which will read the files my ripper has produced.

Any help would e greatly appreciated.

Rip to separate m2v and ac3 files and then multiplex them together

I dont think moviefactory support ac3.

Baldrick thanks for the help and advice, that is what I was after... As I say I have done all the newbie things as per the guides and they work ok...

I just wanted to use the big expensive programs and see what I came up with is all
