I got MIB2 on AVI. At least that's what I was told (Windows Explorer labels it as a "Video Clip"). Windows Media Player gives me an "unspecified error" box and plays nothing.

Naturally, trying to convert this to mpeg for a vcd burn turned up nothing but a blank screen.

Am I missing something here? Or is it possible to make a vcd of a file that cannot be viewed on a pc?

    Thanks for any suggestions.

  2. AVI is to file type as Ford is to automobiles. There are different models of Fords, and different types of AVI files. The most common type of AVI files for internet distribution are encoded with one of the DivX codecs.

As Churchill famously predicted when Chamberlain returned from Munich proclaiming peace in his time: "You were given the choice between war and dishonor. You chose dishonor, and you will have war."
