    Cool . I am actually waiting for Apex AD-2500 which I saw listed last month on amazon and buy.com then suddenly disappeared. Both 2100 and 2500 are the same but 2500 is progressive scan. Your testing results will be really helpful. enjoy and post back here. Thanks!

  3. I recently received an email from amazon.com stating that the apex ad-2500 will not be available from their supplier in the foreseeable future so you may be waiting a long time. I have not heard anything from buy.com but the item is no longer there as well. This is strange since an email from apex's own customer service center said that the ad-2500 is selling now. I don't know what is going on, but it does not look too promising for those of us waiting for this player to hit the market.
