  1. I have been able to put 786 mb of video onto a cd using VCDeasy, but can not do it with roxio easy cd creator's video cd program, and is there a program out there that will allow me to make data cd's over the 700mb limit as well?

    thank you for your time,

  3. I am happy with vcdeasy's ability to write over the supposed cd cap, and am looking for a data cd writer that can do the same.

  4. A VCD has the video tracks in MODE2 Form2 with user data at 2524 bytes per sector. An 80 min CD has 360,000 sectors. Do the maths and you can work out the capacity.

A Data CD MUST be in either MODE1 or MODE2 Form1. Either way, you only get 2048 bytes per sector. Do the maths, and you can work out the capacity.

In brief, you cannot make a data CD with capacity like a VCD.
