    Hi All,

    Please can you help.

    I have just ordered a DVD writer (not yet installed), and would like to ask what is the best software for burning DVD.

    I have Nero 5.5.9 but I don't see any options for writing DVD. I have read the help files but they just seem to explain the format. Maybe it's an option that appears once Nero detects a DVD writer and the time line expands etc?

    Is there anything better?

    the dvd burn options in nero will appear when you install the the dvd burner. i had the same problem. if you want the options now, go to file, preferences, expert settings and you will find the option that displays all the burn options (including dvd)
