Has anyone been able to get any other burning software to work besides Nero with this drive? I am having loads of trouble trying to get it to work, even sometimes with Nero it won't burn certain .bin's set on DAO. I am very frustrated at the lack of info Ive been able to find on this matter, and on IDE/ATAPI, etc. Can anyone clear this up for me?
BTW, WInCDR and other burning software simply does not recognize my drives.
Running WINXP aswell.

Sometimes its easier to extract the data files from these ISO's and use it to re-author a new VCD
Use programs like WinISO, Iso Buster, CD Madge to extract the .dat file.
Using this method means you will lose any menu created or anything set up by the original authoring program. DAO, TAO etc will all be gone, then you can burn as normal.
The .dat files are supported with most Authoring programs and require no extra work, However if you hit any problems use VCDGear to change the .dat to a .mpg
If the original .dat has any problems, you may need to fix them by re-encoding to .mpg with TMPGEnc
