Or is it just too difficult to explain. I have searched other threads asking this question and they all have no replies. Surely someone knows:
How to make a DVD loop, like in a kiosk? I just burned a DVD using DVDit! PE containing only a single MPEG2 clip (no menus) as the First Play and it DOES loop. So is this the answer?
(Perhaps it's so elementary, no one wants to bother?)

So, is the DVD you made looping, or is it not looping?
As Churchill famously predicted when Chamberlain returned from Munich proclaiming peace in his time: "You were given the choice between war and dishonor. You chose dishonor, and you will have war." -
I guess I really didn't phrase the question properly. Yes, it DOES loop. But suppose I didn't want it to? In THAT case, is the answer simply to NOT set the video as "First Play" in DVDit? Thanks for your reply!
(I DO want it to loop. I just want to know exactly how I did it!) -
Depends on which authoring program you use.
Some let you set what happens after a clip plays, some don't.
videoPack 5, for instance, lets you set a clip to loop or go directly to another clip or menu, whichever you want.
In Workshop, I can set a clip to be a motion menu with no timeout, effectively making it loop.I don't have a bad attitude...
Life has a bad attitude!
