    Unless I missunderstand the question...

No offense intended, but somebody actually made a guide for something VCDEasy does by default?! OMG people! Does anybody actually TRY things first anymore, before asking a question?

    Add your first mpg.
    Add another mpg.
    Add another.
    Done.

By default in VCDEasy, without your having to anything, pressing NEXT will take you to the next mpg. The only time you should mess with the Interactivity options is if you want NEXT to skip an mpg or go backwards (for whatever reason).

  6. Basically, if you combine the information in the link in CryptKeeper's post with the guides shown here, you will get the idea.

How to create VCD menus and chapters with VCDEasy

How to create a VCD or SVCD chapters with VCDEasy

Essentially, you ADD each video you want on the disc, activate PBC, assign functions to PREVIOUS, NEXT, RETURN, PLAY buttons and optionally assign functions to the numeric keypad.

  7. you can try in Interactivity and where it says

    use numeric keys

click on the box at the bottom marked "Overwrite this default assignment"
    to select it

and then click on the 2 play box
    then select the next video
    which would be number 2
and so forth to give every video it's own number

I haven't tried this yet since I ran out of cd's earlier
*don't ever let that happen to you too*
but once I get more cd's
I'll put it to the test to see if it works properly.

I'll upload the images and then edit this post to place the url into it

  8. BTW, HillJack is correct. If you just add the videos you want to play in the order you want to see them played back, you will automatically get NEXT, PREVIOUS functionality. I linked to the other guides in case you decide you want further interactivity beyond that. If you would like to be able to skip to a point within a video, the Chapters functionality helps a lot. It also helps to see exactly how VCDEasy treats each line item by default and what options are available for modification.

how I found out about more than one mpeg on a vcd was by trying it
had never used vcdeasy before I actually tried it

I hadn't read any info on the program before I tried it

I do alot with trial and error
and after 1st try I usually succeed

and I'm not one to go with vcd's
since I've got tv out and My pc is mainly for encoding on it and watching movies from it

    oops forgot to mention
    posting in a forum
