    I have a DVD (Audiovox 1500 portable) bought in Texas about 10 months ago. I am now working in Kosovo and only have acess to region 1 DVD's. When I try to change the settings to allow this I can't. Can someone please tell me if there is a way round this? I have been told that there is a certain code that can be entered to allow this ?
    Any help would be very very helpful !

    Do you really mean "region 1" DVDs? Kosovo is in region 2 if I recall correctly. The Audiovox you bought in Texas should play region 1 DVDs without any problem, as Texas is in region 1.

    My apologies, I do mean, I can only get "region 2" dvd's ! Does anyone know a fix for this so I can play any region dvd's ??
    I contacted Audiovox direct but as expected "this model only supports region 1 dvd's" was the reply from them.
    Any help would be very welcome folks
