    why every time i download a movie & i burn it as vcd/svcd with nero the movie comes out on my dvd in 4:3 format so i lose resolution.
    how can i improve the resolution of my vcd/svcd when i wach them with a stand alone dvd ??? please help ???

    Nero is not so good for converting AVI to mpeg, but you need to maintain the aspect ratio. In TMPGEnc you have Full screen > keep aspect ratio
