  1. what program other than Spruceup will allow you too use vcd's with out encoding them where as you can put more than one movie to a disc I got Ulead Dvd Movie factory but it only accepts Dvd files only and want accept vcd movies ihave to spend a couple of hours re-encoding since you can't contact Spruceup for anything

  2. The following will accept VCD files for authoring to DVD:

    MyDvd & DVDiT (will convert audio to 48Khz PCM) (Select mpeg-1-DVD compliant at project creation time)

    Dazzle DVD Complete (Requires you convert audio to 48Khz .mp2 or PCM format)

    I am sure there must be others but these are the ones I have used.

  3. so using those programs how long does it take to complete a project with 3 movies on one disk counting encoding

  4. I use DVDiT to create my DVD-R's It takes about 2 1/2 hours to do 2-3 movies on P4, 1.6 Ghz system, so depends on your CPU speed also. If you use DVDiT be sure to change the audio, to a bitrate of 192 Dual Stereo, this will create a small file for you, if you don't set this DVDiT will force PCM. Just go to build, audio and make the cange.
