Nero demo - newbie confusion

I downloaded the latest Nero demo from Ahead (5.5.24), but it won't let me burn a CD with my burner (Ricoh MP6200A), it says that this demo version will only burn using Creative burners, you need to buy the full version for others. What's the point of a demo, then? How am I supposed to see if I can burn SVCD's that will play in a standalone DVD player? And what's with this Ahead-Creative corporate thing going on?

It's a easy fix if you think about it
"you plan on ripping dvd's right or at least that is your goal"

"well someone's goal out there was to take the limitations off of demo's, that goal is now reality"

use the net and start looking,

HEY I HAD THAT PROBLEM BUT THREE IS A WAY TO COME AROUND THAT NO NEED TO BUY THE FULL PACK, EMAIL ME AND I CAN SEND U A KEY GENERATER, FROM THAT SELECT THE NUMBER FOR A RICHO CDR AND THEM COPY THAT NUMBER AND APATED AT THE PLACE WHENER THE NUMBER IS REQURED IN THE DEMO, AND THIS WILL MAKE ITN A FULL PACK
