I rented a movie and didn't have time to watch it so before I returned it I left it copying (explored dvd rom and selected all files and copied to hard drive) over nigth. I did not rip the dvd because I didn't have the freeware to do it. I am now trying to watch the movie from the files but the dvd viwer software I have do not play from files only from dvd disk. Is there software that will play the movie. I don't know if I want to make it into a vcd but if there is a way to make it into one what software do i need to use.
I just don't want to go rent the movie and pay for it again, so after I see the movie I'm thinking of just deleting the files from me hard drive or maybe i'll burn it into a vdc.
Any thougths?
Thanks

windvd and powerdvd both play dvds from the harddrive, if you have all files...but you must decrypt it or it won't work, you can use smartripper or any ripper.
