    Anybody able to run XP with this video card successfully and operationally? Every time I try and run this ATI Xpert 98 PCI card as the primary adapter, that "Device Cannot Start" occurs and I cannot capture video.

    I have the ATI 8500DV and it runs great under XP. Your problems may be that it reconizes the TV out as the second monitor. See if you can disable it in the Advanced settings. Also I have had a dual monitor set up where the only way I could get the PCI card to work is to have it set in the BIOS to boot off of it first. Then XP figured it out installed the driver and everything worked well.
