I was just wondering how DV tape works. Does the quality of the recording improve if the tape speed is on SP rather then LP? Any bit rate difference since it's digital? So when I got to capture, would I even notice the difference?

When I've used lp on my dv cam I've seen a slight degredation in picture, but not a huge one. Sound quality seems to be the thing to take a hit though. So stick with sp unless you really need to go 90min. without changing the tape.
