    ok what program can i use to make this a vcd i tryed and tmpge&nero
    they dont support this file for some reason..what program can i make a vcd out of this.......(: thanks:)

    Sounds like you don't have the right codec. When you play the avi file on the computer, what happens? Sound/no sound? Picture/no picture. Give us something to work with here. As an aside, I just capped Eddie Murphy Delirious from my old Beta tape collection to vcd format. It looks 'okay' but I think I'll try for SVCD next...

  3. hey thankx 4 the reply so quick ! well i was using some divx 5 bundle pack to play this and it worked like a charm everything was great! so now i want to share it on a vcd ;)

  6. a little confused why would the file name be divx.avi? instead of just divx? is it a divix or a avi?avi i guess but why divx in file name?

    "divx.avi" is just used as a general example file name, in your case "divx.avi" would be replaced with "Eddie_Murphy_raw_divx_full.avi". Have you tried downloading the nimo codec pack from the tools section? I had problems encoding DivX files to mpeg with tmpgenc until I installed this, even though I could play them fine with wmp.
