I have the ATI AIW Radeo 7500
When I hook it up to my satelite, I get some major flickering at the top of the screen.. can somoen teach me how to get rid of it?

What source input are you using?
I use composite on my Radeon. It looks about as good. The flickering at the top of the screen is somewhat normal (for DTV anyway). I guess it all depends on what you consider to be severe. For me, when I burn to VCD and play on the TV, it isn't any longer visable.
If it is too extremely bad, it is because the image sent to your cap card is showing the areas that are in overscan. You could always use TMPGenc or something else to "trim" the edges when you encode.
