I am having a problem capturing. When I do SVCD realtime, with de-interlaced turned on, the capture is near perfect. The problem is in the background, when the camera pans, the background jerks, just like turning from 30 fps down to 15 fps. even thou it is set at 29.97 fps The person that is the subject in the capture ,in the center of the frame, is fine,no jerks, only the background jerks. It is most noticeable when the camera focuses on a person, center screen ,and the background is moving. When I turn off de-interlacing ,no jerks, smooth video, but the result is a very poor picture. Lots of artifacts .It is this way in all formats, capturing, with all codecs, even tried to use Virtual Dub but same problem.
My computer is fast : P4 2.2 gig , 1gig DDR ,7200 rpm HD, XP, ATI All IN WONDER 8500 128 MB , the newest $400.00 card with MMC 7.7 Catilyst, It did this with the older MMC versions too.If any one can help it would be very much appreciated .Thank You in advance
