  1. Maybe a little off-topic but I need my CDRW's to test my menus on my DVD player .

This has happened before but I'm not sure how I fixed it. If I use the quick erase method too much, my CDRW's eventually cannot be erased. Usually it takes 10 quick erases, and then it happens. What happens is when I insert the busted CDRW, the drive just keeps reading it for ever. Eventually it gives up and the drive's light just blinks. Going to any CDR application and choosing erase CDRW results mostly in the software freezing, because it keeps trying but it can't.

Is there any way to insert the CD without the drive trying to read it? That way then I could erase the CDRW's I have that ain't working. These are very high quality CDRW's and should last for much longer. I just need to get some software to start doing a full erase before the drive starts checking the busted CDRW. I think that is what I did before, but that was a long time ago and I have forgoten how.

    Any help?
